Taking REACH forward
We believe there is significant potential for the REACH concept bring sustainable, affordable heatlchare to poor communities, and have set out four objectives for how we would support the development of REACH schemes:
  1. To develop partnerships with other organisations in implementing REACH programmes successfully
  2. To develop the concepts of REACH so that programmes can be implemented effectively in a wide variety of situations, and that there is constant improvement in the effectiveness of existing REACH programmes.
  3. To develop resources to help interested parties obtain seed funding for initiating REACH programmes without incurring significant financial difficulties
  4. To publicise widely the concept of the REACH programme in order to encourage greater uptake and also generate funding to support core activities and seed funding generation
We are therefore now seeking to develop partnerships with other organisations wishing to develop innovative healthcare solutions for the poor. If you are a representative of such an organisation and would like to explore this further, please contact Martin Morse (details on the Contacts Page)
